City staff enthusiastically dive into the material!

About the Event

Forum on Gender Equity in Toronto City Budget
January 19, 2017, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
at 519 Church Street, Toronto

Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam will host the City of Toronto’s first public forum on Gender Equity in the City Budget. This public forum is an opportunity to learn about how an intersectional gender lens can improve how we allocate resources to better serve our residents. City services, programs and infrastructure have the most direct impact on residents’ lives and we want you to be a part of the discussion on how the budget process can help achieve a more equitable city. About Us

Toronto Women’s City Alliance was formed in 2004 by a diverse group of women who have been organizing to end the growing silence and invisibility of girls’ and women’s voices and issues from the political agenda in the City of Toronto. TWCA works to ensure political commitment to addressing and removing barriers that many women face in accessing essential services.
